Historic TimePlan Summit for Scandic Hotels

For the first time ever, Scandic Hotels’ Nima Razmgah gathered his TimePlan super users from Norway, Sweden and Denmark for two days to go through the hotel chain’s use of TimePlan. This took place Thursday and Friday last week at TimePlan’s head offices in Aalborg.

– Our super users and administrators participate in the annual TimePlan Customer Meetings in their respective countries, explains Nima Razmgah, who is the IT Systems Manager for HR Applications at Scandic Hotels in Scandinavia.
– But this is the first time since Scandic’s implementation of TimePlan in 2005 that our super users and administrators meet across the borders. This summit has been hugely beneficial because something very special happens when we meet face to face rather than only via phone or email, says Nima Razmgah.

Better collaboration and shared processes
The agenda for Scandic Hotels’ TimePlan Summit in Aalborg was packed with a detailed examination of how each of the hotels use TimePlan for shift planning, time registration and HR administration. Each participant also shared their learnings and experiences, and discovered how the countries can help each other.
– The TimePlan Summit has fostered better collaboration between the countries and a better handling of shared processes and challenges. We can now aim for joined TimePlan upgrades happening at the same time in all the countries, and from an IT perspective, this makes everything much easier, says a pleased Nima Razmgah.
He would like to see that the TimePlan Summit between Scandic Hotels in Norway, Sweden and Denmark becomes an annual event just like the TimePlan industry customer meetings.
TimePlan’s CEO Henrik Baasch presented the news in TimePlan 7 for Scandic Hotels during the international TimePlan Summit.

Continued development
In addition to Scandic Hotels, TimePlan is used by several hotel chains in Scandinavia and Europe, including Radisson Blu, Nordic Choice Hotels, MOXY Hotels, Marriott Courtyard, and more. At the annual TimePlan customer meetings, hotel customers are given the opportunity to present wishes and suggestions for the software development. TimePlan has thus been shaped to be particularly well-suited for the hotel industry over the years due to the fine collaboration with the hotels.
